Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This privacy policy describes how the personal data of users who visit the website oceraalessandro.com (the “Site”) and use it to get in touch is processed. It is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”).

An important note This policy concerns the website only. The processing of patient data within clinical activity (sessions, assessments, psychological pathways) is governed by a separate privacy notice, given directly to the person before the start of the work, in compliance with professional confidentiality and the rules on health data.

What data we collect

1. Browsing data

During normal use of the Site, the IT systems and the hosting infrastructure automatically collect certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (for example IP address, browser and device type, operating system, date and time of the visit, pages viewed). This data is used solely to ensure the correct functioning, security and technical diagnostics of the Site, and to derive aggregated, anonymous statistics.

2. Data you provide via the contact form

If you choose to write to me through the contact form on the Site, I collect the data you enter: name, email address and the content of your message. This data is processed solely to respond to your request and manage the contact.

One request Please do not enter sensitive data about your health, or other particularly delicate information, in the contact form. There will be a more protected setting to discuss these, for example during a first session. The form is only meant to put us in touch.

Why we process your data and on what legal basis

How long we keep your data

Data sent through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any subsequent contact, and in any case no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless legal obligations require otherwise. Browsing data is kept only for the strictly necessary technical period.

Third-party services and cookies

The Site does not use profiling cookies or marketing/advertising tools (there is no Google Analytics, advertising pixel or tracking system). However, in order to function, the Site relies on some third-party services which may in turn collect technical data (such as the IP address) or set cookies. Here they are in detail:

Hosting and contact form — Netlify

The Site is hosted on Netlify and the contact form is handled through the platform’s “Forms” feature. Netlify processes technical browsing data and the data sent through the form on our behalf. Netlify is provided by Netlify, Inc. (based in the United States); data transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or adherence to the Data Privacy Framework). More information: netlify.com/privacy.

Fonts — Google Fonts

The Site uses Google Fonts typefaces, which are loaded from Google’s servers. To display the fonts correctly, your browser shares its IP address with Google. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Map — Google Maps

The “Location” section embeds a map provided by Google Maps, which helps locate the office. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies. Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Online booking — MioDottore (DocPlanner)

The Site embeds a booking widget provided by MioDottore, a service of the DocPlanner group. This is the panel that lets you view availability and book an appointment without leaving the Site. To work, the widget loads code from DocPlanner’s servers and may set cookies (for example technical cookies needed to manage the booking session). When you use the widget or book through it, the data you enter is processed by DocPlanner as an independent controller, under its own policy, which I invite you to read: MioDottore privacy policy.

Data transfers outside the European Union

Some of the providers listed above (in particular Netlify and Google) are based in, or may process data in, the United States. In such cases the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and/or the provider’s adherence to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

As a data subject, in relation to the data processed through the Site, you may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, and in particular:

To exercise these rights you can write to me at alessandroocera@outlook.it.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you reside.

Minors

The Site and the services offered are intended for adults. Data of persons under 18 is not knowingly collected through the Site.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated over time, for example to reflect changes to the services used or to applicable law. The updated version will always be published on this page, with the date of the latest update.

Contact

For any questions about this policy or the processing of your personal data, you can write to alessandroocera@outlook.it or contact the Controller using the details given above.
